Sam and Cassie: Sam goes to Grey House and sees Cassie making waffles which surprises him. He jokes about what they have and Cassie laughs saying they have sugar and chocolate chips.

- Abigail and her dad: when her dad appears after 22 years without knowing about him Abigail is shocked and confused. When he asks her to meet him for dinner Abigail doesn't know if she will go or not because she is hurt that he abandoned her all these years. At the end she goes but she is too hurt and when he starts explaining why he left she runs away. At the end Abigail forgives her dad and tells him that she doesn't want to live more years without a dad... he invites her to their home that he will be staying in and she tells him she will call when she goes.

LESSON: the power of forgiveness and family

- Grey House Guests: a couple expecting their first child arrive at Grey House and everyone realizes how nervous and worried the father is of not knowing what to do. When Abigail´s dad comes to Grey House she tells him that their guest has put more effort than him her entire life and that she is hurt.

LESSON: what matters is that you care and put effort into it

- Cassie and Abigail´s dad: even if she doesnñt understand why he left she is sweet and caring with her father and even gives him a photo of Abigail from when she was young. Arthur thanks Cassie for being good to him and she says that they are family.

LESSON: family is family and there is nothing we wouldn't do for them

- Grace and Sam: Grace has a tournament but Cassie can't take her so Sam offers to take her. Sam realizes that Grace isn't very excited about it even when she wins so he asks her why she does it and she says to have point for college. Sam tells Grace that it is great but that she also should do things she likes so she can discover what she wants to study in college. This gets Grace thinking about what she really likes.

LESSON: always looks for things that you love

- Women's Small Business Association: After Abigail´s dad shows Martha a photo of her with her first business, a lemonade stand, this gives Martha an idea to inspire the youth of Middleton. Putting a photo of each shop owner of when they were young and now for everyone to see how far they have come.

LESSON: your life can always inspires others
