Good Witch Halloween: Spellbound

Sam and Cassie: Cassie is really excited for Halloween, as always; but Sam isn't into it very much... But at the end he sees how important Halloween is for her and her family and even helps her decorate Grey House!

- The Perriwood Curse: When Martha finds some weird papers in City Hall she gives them to Cassie and they discover it is the Perriwood curse. It all started when this man used his scientific skills to predict a disaster and the town made him leave, leaving his fiance, a Merriwick, behind... Legend says that he was so angry that he wrote a prophecy for the town and everyone has been worried that it will come true one of these Halloweens. Everyone in town gets really worried when some of the prophecies start happening and with the Halloween competition the tension keeps growing until everyone starts fighting with each other... But Grace reminds everyone that they live together, and share the beautiful town and if they don't stop fighting with one another maybe they do deserve the curse! At the end Grace discovers the final part of the prophecy and to the surprise of everyone it wasn't a curse it was a prediction that everyone in town will be friendly with one another and they will forget their differences becoming a big family. At first Grace is confused, not understanding why someone that was treated so badly by the town will wish them something so good, but Cassie reminds her that maybe Cotton Perriwood had a skill no one thought about... FORGIVENESS! LESSON: remember the importance of FORGIVENESS and to care and help those around you getting past your differences. - Halloween Friendly Competition: Grace had this idea of a friendly competition with the small shops of Middleton and then announcing the winner at Grey House Halloween party, she also proposes they donate all the money to buy toys for the kids that are in the hospital. Everyone jumps right in and Martha spreads the word catching the attention of a magazine who sends a journalist to cover the story... At the end the journalist is so amazed by everyone´s work that the magazine decides to cover all the shops and not just one so everyone wins. They also collect a lot of money to buy many toys for the kids. LESSON: What's important is to have fun and to help others. - Sam and Nick: This Halloween Nick has decided to scare Sam so he tries to scare him with the normal Halloween things: a spider in his coffee, hiding in the car... but when he doesn't make Sam even flinch he asks her dad if anything scares him... Sam says nothing he can think of... Later Cassie gives him a weird flashlight and Nick hides in Sam´s office but gets trapped in the closet... his phone dies and when no one seems to know where he is Sam starts to get really worried. At the end Sam goes to his practice and finds Nick in his closet, giving him a big hug telling him how worried he was. Nick smiles telling his dad that at least he is scared of something which Sam´s smiles at. LESSON: Parents will always care for kids and always be scared of something happening to them, make sure your loved ones know how much you care about them and how much you love them. - Grey House Guests: two couples arrive at Grey House attracted by the Halloween Festivities! One of them is celebrating their honeymoon and the other is celebrating their 50 year anniversary! The young couple seems to be perfect for each other but Cassie soon discovers that the woman pretends to like everything his husband does... Cassie makes her realize she is not showing her true self and that she can´t keep pretending forever but the young lady is worried that if her husband sees that they aren't so much alike he will leave her... But the old couple makes her see that's not true when they tell her that when they met they couldn't agree on anything, but years and years together they just came to like many similar things. At the end the young lady confesses to her husband that she doesn't like many things he does and he tells her that that´s not why he loves her; he loves her for the good and caring person she is! LESSON: when you are with someone you love you don't have to pretend, you just have to be honest and show them your true self.
