The episode starts with Cassie receiving a phone call from Sam, who is at the hospital because of an accident. She runs to the E.R and Sam tells her he fell down a roof while he was trying to help his friend Liam. Cassie is concerned and asks him to don´t do those things just before they get married. We see Sam doing a weird face and having some thoughts. Then we see Sam and Cassie in Sam´s house having a talk about the wedding plans where he says that she has´t spoken of the wedding for a while until that moment at the hospital. He wonders if she is having second thoughts and she says no. Then we see Sam saying that he is ready and telling Cassie to let him know when she is. LESSONS: The unique point of these scenes is that we usually see Cassie pretty sure and confident about everything that is going on, she guides people with her intuition and we are used to seeing her very confident about decisions. But now we see another part of her, a part that worries and that has doubts, which shows you she is human and she is just like every other person in the world. This makes you feel more identified and close with her.

Then we see that Sam is being called from a friend of an organization with whom he went on a trip last summer to help people in Colombia. He says that a storm is going to that place and they need doctors. Sam of course says he will be going without a doubt after all that´s why he became a doctor to help people. Then we see Eve going to Cassie store where she sees that Cassie is getting some things ready for Sam (a scarf and a pen-light) and asks her if she's worried for him but Cassie says no because he has gone there before and Eve agrees but tells her that now they have that storm which Cassie didn't knew. LESSONS: The show always gives you meaningful messages like how important it is to help others and use your gifts for good. There are also these beautiful scenes when you can see how Cassie uses her intuition to guide people's lives and help those in need indirectly. We also see this part of Cassie where she is worried because even if she has some intuition she doesn't really know for sure how things are going to end. Sam is ready to go and goes to Grey House to say goodbye to Cassie. He apologizes for not telling her about the storm but tells her he didn't do it on purpose. We see Cassie giving him the things she got at Bell, Book and Candle and supporting him. Even if she is scared she understands why he has to go and supports him in his decision. LESSONS: One of the many things we love so much about #SASSIE is how supportive and encouraging they are with each other! We all need and dream of a couple who will support us no matter what but also respect our decisions and encourage us to follow our dreams. Here we see that Cassie is worried but we never see her trying to change Sam´s mind about going there, instead she supports him, gives him some things that will help him and trusts the universe to help him too! This is what a real partner should do! The next scenes we see Sam arriving at the storm place and helping those in need over there. He discovers Cassie gift (an amulet from Grey House) and smiles. During all his time there we see how everything that Cassie gave him helps him help his patients., particularly a family (couples and 2 daughters, one older and a baby) with whom he bonds. He uses the pen-light to help the baby, then the scarf to help the father and the amulet of Grey House with the mother. LESSONS: Here we see how Cassie helps Sam help people in need from home. Everything that she gave him he used it with the family over there. And the amazing writers of #GOODWITCH know how to tell these stories so well and make the audience see the little details without having to actually say them. The actors do such a wonderful job with their expressions, way of doing the scene that you just see what they are trying to say and the lessons they are giving you. Back at home we see a part of Cassie that we aren't used to seeing but that is normal in a human being and that helps us feel identify with her in a lot of ways. She is worried because she can´t get in touch with Sam due the storm and can´t feel how he is, but she finds comfort and support in her family, Abigail and George. Abigail just sits with her and listens to her and tries to make her see she is not alone. This is exactly what we need sometimes, we sometimes just need to know that there is someone with us even if they don´t know what to say but they support us and that's enough to feel better. Like Cassie says in a previous scene from season 2 "sometimes being there means more than words can express". LESSONS: This scene just shows what an incredible supportive family Cassie has and that sometimes you just need to know there is someone there to listen to you even if they don't say anything. Sometimes all that we need is someone there to smile at us. Cassie is always there for everyone but she sometimes needs someone to support her too and Abigail is always there when she needs that support. That´s what family is for, for supporting each other in the good and the bad times. Then we see a very beautiful, honest talk with George at Grey House kitchen. George says that usually Cassie knows how things are going to go but she says that this time she doesn't know and admits to have put a good luck charm (Grey House´s amulet) in Sam´s bag. George understands why she is feeling so off because she doesn't want to lose Sam, to which Cassie answers that they are in love and that's forever. George says that he meant what happened to Jake (her previous husband) and how he died unexpectedly and sooner than everyone thought. Cassie admits that maybe what happened to Jake is what makes her feel this way now and that is why she has to fall in love with men that want to change the world by taking so many risks. George points out to her that if they didn't take risks the world would never change. LESSONS: Here we see how good George knows Cassie and how he knows there is something wrong with her. We see how he makes her realize what is happening and why she is feeling the way she is. But he also makes her see that sometimes we need to take some risks if we want to make a difference. Then there is the storyline with Nick, who has to do college applications but has no idea what he wants to study. He keeps avoiding doing the applications by all means, for example helping Stephanie deliver a menu to an elderly lady. In her house he finds out she has no light outside and offers to change the light ball, after this the lady offers him cookies and tells him she is going to take them to a shelter so Nicks offers himself to take them for her. After this we see a beautiful and meaningful scene with Cassie and Nick at Bell Book and Candle. Nick goes to tell Cassie that her father called and says he is ok and Cassie says to him that she has found out how she helped the elderly lady. We see Nick and Cassie talking and Nick admits he is a little stressed out because of college and not knowing what to study. Here we see how Cassie has been thinking about what George said to her and she tells Nick that for what he does he really cares and loves to help people, and that maybe knowing what to study isn´t as important as being a good person, because is the good in a person what's really going to change the world. LESSONS: This is such a meaningful scene for the youth people of the audience, we all have been in Nick´s shows, not really knowing what to study and feeling the pressure of everyone telling us to decide, society in general makes you believe that money is more important that choosing something you really like and most people study something they don't really like because of this or to just follow a family tradition...What Cassie says to Nick is what really matters and what all our youth should have very present in their lives: to be good is the most important thing, what you study comes after but if you are a good person and kind and supportive of others you would have already win no matter what you study. We all share and try to give the wisdom of this scene and quote ("maybe deciding what are you going to do isn´t as important as realizing who you are, because is the goodness in a person what's really going to change the world") to all our youth and kids because of the importance of it! We also see another very important lesson in this storyline with Nick and that's the message to our youth and everyone in the audience to be kind, respectful and help our elderly. We all know this respect has been disappearing more and more generation after generation and especially our youth is not very kind and respectful to this part of our society, mostly because their parents have lost the respect too and they don't teach it to he childrens like everyone did in the past. The episode concludes when Sam arrives home and Cassie is waiting for him at his house. Cassie tells Sam that Nick finally did the college applications and we see the wonderful impact and guidance she is for everyone. She also tells Sam she understands that he needs to go away on trips like this one and help other people. With Sam away Cassie had time to think and put everything into perspective, she understands that life is a wirsk and that we can´t control what will happen tomorrow so it is better to live each day fully and be thankful for every single moment and Sam tells her that that´s the perfect way of starting their live together. LESSONS: Again this wonderful show is giving us an insight and makes us put everything into perspective too. What Cassie says is so true and that's the way we should all live our life, in the present moment, enjoying every second of it, paying attention to the important things, sharing our time with our loved ones like it was our last moment alive because we really don't know what will happen tomorrow. In this particular episode you can see the essence of #GOODWITCH through every scene. We see how Cassie uses her gifts for good and to guide people and help others, we see her being vulnerable and feeling what we all have feel at least once for a loved one, we see the support and encourage of her family and how important is to be there for others and have someone to go to just talk especially in the hard times. And finally all the episode just gives everyone, all ages and genres, such meaningful important lessons about life that can be applied in every part of the world because they are lessons of life itself and it doesn't matter where you live or who you are, you will feel identified and inspired by these wonderful lessons and storyline. This is just an example of how rich and deep the storytelling in this wonderful family-friendly show is.
As you can see, all are examples of real life situations. PLEASE we beg you #SAVEGOODWITCH so more people can see the incredible treasure of TV and life #GOODWITCH is! #SassieBack #Countdown2Sassie We need the light in the darkness more than ever before! We need LOVE more than ever before!
