A Birthday Wish

Sam and Cassie: Sam goes to Grey House to give Cassie some boxes for her shop and tells her that an old friend Liam is visiting and he wants them to meet. Casse smiles and thanks him for the box. Then they kiss and Sam leaves. Then Sam goes to Cassie´s shop to give her some more boxes and they share a sweet kiss. At the end of the day Sam goes to pick up Cassie at her shop and they leave for home. At the end Sam introduces Liam to Cassie and finds out they already know each other and that Cassie guided Liam to the bar and that's why he is staying in town. They share a sweet kiss and a "I love you". LESSONS: always care about your partner #SassieBack #Countdown2Sassie

- Cassie:

With Martha: she is reorganizing the store to change things for the better when Martha comes in and asks her why she is changing everything. Cassie tells her there is a reason for it and Martha says he wishes everyone was more like her. Martha tells her how she wants to explain the younger people at City Hall to honor the history of Middleton and not toast it aside. Then Sam comes in and Martha notices immediately how something has changed between them and smiles about how happy she is for the both of them. As she is leaving she sees some rocks which remind her of an old Middleton tradition for young people she wants to bring back.

Martha tells Grace to spend a day with her to revive the tradition where a young girl puts her name on a rock and leaves it in a place in Middleton to remind her that she will always be an important part of the community, forever.

LESSONS: is important to honor history and to remind the youth about the importance of the ones who came before us and what they did. Also make the youth feel part of the community.

With her guest: a famous chef comes into Grey House to relax but she ends up cooking and changing everything around the kitchen. Cassie guides her to a very hard recipe that takes a lot of time and that shows her how it is to be in silence, alone in an empty kitchen. She ends up appreciating the silence and tells Cassie she will remember it and will give some free time to the people who work with her. LESSONS: always remember to stop for a moment on your busy life and just think, be in silence and enjoy the present moment [file attached "Stop for a moment"]

- Sam and Liam/Cassie: Liam is an old friend of Sam from NY who is visiting him in town. He wants to invest in some business and when he gets lost looking for a place he goes into Cassie´s shop who sends him to a bar that he ends up buying and moving to Middleton to live.

- Martha and Stephanie: Martha is worried about not being able to find her stone but Stephanie reminds her of everything she has done and keeps doing for Middleton everyday! Telling her she doesn't need a stone because her mark is on Middleton everywhere you look at. LESSONS: always remind your friend of how much they have done for you and your community

- Grace birthday: she is so busy with homework that she isn't much at home, and when Abigail gives her the "Merriwick Wish Book" a Merriwick tradition where you write a wish on your 16 birthday and it comes true the next day, the only wish she has is to be with her mom alone for some time. Grace feels sad after Abigail tells her that Cassie never got to write her wish because she was in foster care at 16 and no one knew where she was. At the end Grace´s wish comes true and she shares a sweet mother daughter moment with Cassie when she tells her that she did make her wish and wrote it on a piece of paper. Cassie´s wish was "a life filled with love" and it came true. Grace smiles and shares her wish with Cassie too while they hug and eat some cake.

LESSONS: enjoy spending time with your loved ones whenever you have the chance

- Abigail: she made a stupid wish at 16 and she keeps regretting it so she tells Grace to please think very carefully about her wish so she doesnt make the same mistake.
