A Budding Romance & Without Magic For A Spell

Sam and Cassie: Sam and Cassie are officially dating and they have a date at Middleton Botanical Gardens. Cassie is waiting for Sam and she greets him as he arrives, as always, making him smile. They are about to share a sweet kiss but George interrupts them. George and Cassie tell Sam about the Merriwick but he really doesn't believe a plant has such an effect on what happens in town.

Sam buys Cassie some flowers to let her know he is thinking about her. Then she goes to her shop to see her where he finds her looking at a family book about what happened when the flower bloomed and when it didn't. Cassie tells him how the community came together when it bloomed and Sam tells her that it doesn't have to be related to the flower. At that moment a customer comes in but Cassie gets blocked and Sam ends up helping. He starts to really worry about Cassie.

When Sam finds out that Cassie closed her shop he goes to the botanical gardens knowing she will be there. He sees that she is sad and worried and sits with her giving her comfort and support. At the end the flower blooms and Cassie thanked Sam for believing in the plant and in her.

- Middleton Merriwick: is a very special plant that Cassie ancestor Elizabeth Merriwick planted 150 years ago. Legend says that when it blooms amazing things happen in town, but when it doesn't blooms some not so good things happen. George and Cassie realize that this year the plant may grow so everyone in town gets excited. But when Daphne cuts a part of the plant, this one starts dyeing and everyone gets worried. This affects specially the Merriwicks who start feeling weird and whose intuition is off. This affects Cassie the most, who feels weird and off and after messing up things with some clients decided to close her shop. Abigail and Grace feel off too and no one knows what is happening. Then they realize they are connected with the plant somehow and start worrying about if the plant, and them, will ever get better. - Martha: she gets so excited about the Merriwick that she starts to make posters to give to everyone, tells everyone in town to spread the word and calls a magazine for them to cover the story! When the plan gets bad she worries but decides to do what Cassie would and tries to stay positive. - Grace: she finds out Sam and Cassie are having dates and is a little sad because Cassie didn't tell her directly that they are dating. But at the end she gets happy for both of them. - Daphne: she is a botanist whose parents don't approve of her career because they want her to get noticed and think that with that career she wont get noticed by anyone. When she sees the Merriwick and how unique it is she starts thinking about it and cuts a piece to try and reproduce it. When she sees that the plant is struggling she gets worried about what she did... Cassie finds out what she has done and tells her to do the right thing and be honest as she ko¡nows she can be. At the end she confesses that she didn't do it for money but to grow a plant like that in every town and get herself noticed so her parents would approve of her. LESSON: never do bad things just thinking about yourself and always be honest. Cassie always believes in the good in people. - Grace and Nick: they are getting so much along that Stephanie tells Grace she thinks Nick likes her and that he is gonna ask her out. But Grace wants to keep being friends with Nick and doesn't want him to ask her out. She asks advice from Abigail who tells her what to do for him to don´t ask her out. At the end Grace finds out that Nick just wanted her opinion on how to ask Courtney out and she feels relieved. She also helps him to ask Courtney out and she said yes. She ends up talking with her mom about everything that happened. - Brandon and Tara: Brandon feels bad for what happened with Tara's mom and he is acting too sweet which makes Tara uncomfortable. She tells him that he doesn't need to act that way, that they are ok. Bradon asks for some favors at work and finds Tara´s mother number so he gives it to her letting her know that the decision is hers and that she will support her. - Stephanie and Ben: Ben wants to open the old theatre and turn it into a cinema and Stephanie thinks it is a great idea. - Abigail and Kevin: Kevin is an old friend of Abigail from when she worked in New York. Abigail is mad with him because when the both of them started a company together he betrayed her and took the company away from her with their other friends. Kevin comes to Middleton with the excuse of wanting to sell the company because it didn't work and wanting to give Abigail her part. Abigail is feeling off so she trusts him but at the end she discovers is another lie of Kevin and he just wants her off the company that is now very successful. - George and Derek: Derek is worried to not be able to find who hurt the plant but George encourages to keep going and thanks him for his work. At the end Derek finds out what happens. - Martha and Stephanie: Martha is blocked because she doesn't know what to write for the cover of the magazine and Stephanie doesn't know how to help Ben: At the end they both help each other. LESSONS: At the end the flower blooms and everyone is back to normal. The important thing is that in times of need everyone helped everyone else and the community came closer than ever.
