The Bird

Sam and Cassie: Sam prepares breakfast and surprises Cassie with breakfast in bed. Cassie tells Sam how she was grading papers until late and that she is sad because it is her last week replacing the university teacher. Sam then tries to come up with something inspiring like she always does and tells him that "when one door closes, make lemonade" which makes her laugh. Cassie tells him how he is one of a kind and they kiss before Sam leaves because he is late for work. When Sam is forced to take vacations he is getting bored at home but he is also happy for his new free time to do some things with Cassie. Cassie comes home and surprises Sam at the kitchen making a BLT, Sam tells him how he hasn't taken any vacations in the last 3 years and the hospital forced him to take some leaving him at home for the next 3 weeks. Cassie laughs understanding why he is home and they share the BTL while Cassie tells him that the teacher that she is replacing is not coming back for now so the university offered her to stay and she said yes.

They start trying some of the other hobbies:

• Sam is stressed with so much free time and doesn't know what to do... Cassie suggests him to meditate to try to relax a little but when Sam tries it, he says he is bored and starts to ask Cassie a lot of questions which makes her impossible to relax. Sam tells her how trying to relax in silence is stressing him even more and goes away to do something else while Cassie laughs at his impatience.

• Later Sam plays golf in their bedroom and Cassie smiles at him saying that it is boring. Sam laughs but tells her to try it first. Cassie tries golf but she is not good at it which makes Sam laugh.

• Then Sam goes down and sees how Cassie is doing some pottery. He tries it and with Cassie´s help he discovers they aren't too bad at it.

After a long day, Cassie and Sam go to their bedroom very tired and Sam tells Cassie that vacationing is getting him more tired than working and she laughs. She tries the gold thing that he teached him but soon realizes that Sam is lying on bed already sleeping which makes her laugh more. She puts a blanket on him and goes downstairs to drink some chamomile. LESSONS: always enjoy doing things with your partner and remember that is always good to take some free time for you and don't work so much #SassieBack #Countdown2Sassie

- Joy and Dona: they are finishing with the meditation room at Grey House and Martha´s house so Dona is looking for new jobs in the country but Joy doesn´t want to leave Middleton. When they get an offer in Vermont, Dona wants to say yes but Joy is thinking about it. At the end, Dona accepts telling Joy she will go even without her and Joy goes with her. LESSONS: sometimes we do things so we don´t hurt our friends - Cassie and Joy: Cassie tells Joy that her family will always be there and that she should do what's right for her and only she knows what that is. LESSONS: family will always support you no matter what - Abigail and Donovan: when they realize that the ruby is still cracking they have to figure out how to break the curse and fast. At the end, they discover that the figurine that Joy´s mother gave her has the diamond that breaks the curse, it opens a hidden box in the music box that has a ring. Donovan uses the ring to propose to Abigail and she says yes. LESSONS: there is always hope - Abigail and Martha: Abigail refuses to have anything to do with Martha´s house since it is where the curse started but at the end realizes that her friendship with Martha is more important and helps her decorate the house and goes to her party. LESSONS: friendship comes first - Martha: she is worried about her renovation house party and asks Cassie for help. Cassie goes to her house and they put some juniper around to attract the good energy. In the end, everything goes well and everyone has a great time. LESSONS: remember to always be positive - Stephanie and Adam: now that they are a week away from Adam leaving they start worrying about their relationship. Adam has no idea when he is returning and Stephanie realizes that she can´t wait for him forever... Adam thinks of proposing to Stephanie but Sam makes him realize that he is doing it for the wrong reasons because he is afraid to lose her when he goes away. At the end, they make the hard decision to break up so each one of them can move on with their lives. LESSONS: sometimes you have to do some hard things - Cassie, Abigail and Joy: at the end of the episode they discover that someone left them a bag full of dirt that none of them knows what it means...
