Surprise Me / Risk

Sam and Cassie: In the first scene we see Sam and Cassie walking out of TheBistro and talking about what happened with Linda and how Nick is ok. They joke about how everything made their friendship stronger and Sam says they should celebrate. Cassie agrees and asks Sam what they are gonna do and Sam tells Cassie he will surprise her.

Then we see a very cute sweet bater when Sam goes to Grey House and Cassie talks about some adventures she did when she was young. Sam tells her he doesn't want to be surprised at all and she tells him that "surprises make life interesting". At the end and with some help from Grace Sam takes Cassie to horseback riding which actually surprises her. They have a very sweet and fun first date taking a trip to some woods on their horses. Hillcrest Hospital offers Sam a new job that will make him leave his practice. He loves his practice but misses working in a hospital so she goes to Cassie for advice. He also tells her how Nick wants to go study in London and ask for her opinion since she studied there. The final scene we see Cassie and Sam playing poker and cooking at Grey House while they have cute banter and looks. Sam laughs saying it takes like meat so he wants to believe it is meat and Cassie laughs.

LESSONS: Always be open to surprises and trust your friends' advice!

- Grey House Guest: a young girl who is used to her father paying for everything and that has never worked comes to visit Middleton. Her father is done with her and has retired her all the credit cards telling her it is time for work on her own, but she doesn't agree and comes to Middleton to visit her brother begging her to talk to their father. When her brother agrees with their father she freaks out about not having money and tries to leave Grey House without paying. Cassie caught her and told her not to live, giving her the chance to do things right. She works with Abigail to pay her some flowers she had bought and Cassie forgives her telling her that now she knows she is capable of working, she trusts herself and other people will too. LESSON: sometimes you just need someone to trust in you so you can trust in yourself.

- Stephanie and her mother: her mother tells her that if she really loves Ben she has to try and let him see that. And that she will always be there for her no matter what. LESSON: your family will always be there for you no matter what!

- Stephanie and Ben / Abigail: Ben is very hurt and doesn't want to try again with Stephanie. She is losing faith and starts flirting with other guys but at the end realizes that she really wants Ben and she feels awful because of what she did. Abigail works her magic and sends Stephanie some flowers "from Ben" to give her courage to go talk to him, she follows her mother's advice and is honest with him. At the end he forgives her and they have a fresh start. LESSON: don´t lie and be honest with the ones you love! Is better to be honest and apologize than to never try to do the right thing. - Brandon and Tara: Tara has gone crazy over having a baby and is already buying things and changing her diet and things around the house which is stressing Brandon. Cassie goes and talks with Tara and discovers that she is nervous because she doesn't have contact with her mother since she abandoned her when she was a baby and she doesn't know who to ask all the questions she has. Cassie tells Tara that it is just a matter of trying and doing your best, work with your partner and some things you will do right and others don't but that's life. LESSON: When you do something with your heart that's sometimes enough no matter the mistakes you make. - Martha´s son: he is back at home because he doesn't have a job and keeps asking his parents for money. Martha keeps giving him everything he wants even if her husband Tom tells her not to do it. But when she goes to talk to Cassie she changes her mind... Cassie tells Martha that if she keeps helping her son he will never learn to do things by himself and that's not what he needs. At the end Martha talks to her son and explains to him that he has to try and find a job which he agrees to. LESSON: sometimes parents have to do difficult things in order to help their kids

- Grace and Eve / Sam: Grace is doing an internship at Sam's office and is so excited about it that she starts changing everything. But Eve is old school and doesn't know how to use technology so well, she gets anxious about all the changes and starts to feel that she isn't needed in the practice. Grace sees this and creates a crisis with the laptops going off so Eve can help and see she is needed. At the end Sam sees what Grace has done and tells her she is just like her mother. LESSON: give people a chance to adapt to changes and always tell them how important they are.
