The Trouble With Love

Sam and Cassie: The first scene is a cute banter where Cassie tells Sam about the food they just ate and how Sam tells Cassie he will let Linda live with him for Nick. Then they play some cards. Sam thinks he has a very good poker face but Cassie tells him he hasn't and that he has an eye twitch when he isn't being honest.

The next scene we see Sam giving Cassie the driven book Grace left in her office with a gift from her dad. Cassie thanks Sam for returning it saying Grace would be sad if she lost it. They agree that Grace doesn't want to take her driving test because she misses her dad and wants to keep spending time with Sam. Cassie tells Sam how hard it is to know her kid is sad but not being able to do anything about it and they share a sweet hug.

The last scene is when Sam comes into Grey House and Cassie is doing a word puzzle that he helps her finish. Then Grace comes in and tells Cassie she will be doing an internship with Sam but that she has to pass her driving test first. Cassie thanks Sam for helping her and Grace and Sam smiles telling her that there isn't anything he wouldn't do for them.

- Stephanie and Ben: When Stephanie´s mother comes to visit her in Middleton Stephanie gets nervous about her meeting Ben. Her mother always has been a little judgy with her boyfriends and Stehanie thinks her mom wont like him because of his job. So she tries to do everything she can so they don't meet... At the end they both meet at Grey House and find out what Stephanie has been doing. Of course Ben gets angry and sad about her being embarrassed by his work. At the end Stephanie´s mother tells her that she doesn't care about that and that she told her those things many years ago. LESSON: Never be embarrassed by someone´s work instead see how good people and honest they are.

- Linda and Nick: Linda hasn't lived with Nick since years ago and she is trying to control everything he does. Nick just goes along with it and when Grace asks him why, he says that it is easier that way because his mother doesn't care about what he wants and always does what she wants. At the end Sam notices how uncomfortable Nick is and asks Linda to please go back to New York which she agrees to do. LESSON: Don't try to control everyone and give people the chance to make their own decisions. Listen to your kids and what they really want.

- Grey House Guest: a famous writer that has lost his wife, who was his muse, and is completely lost without knowing what to write about. He sees a handkerchief that reminds him of her at Bell Book and Candle and Cassie gives it to him. Then she meets Stephanie, who looks a lot like his wife and gives the handkerchief to her. Cassie tells him that Stephanie is not the solution to his problem and to meet her at Grey House later. He meets a fan of his books at Grey House who tells him how much his books had helped her go on when her husband died and thanked him for that. Then Cassie comes and tells him that even if his wife is dead she will always be his muse and will always inspire him to write. The man agress and tells her he will keep writing because there are people who need their books. LESSON: no matter how dark it gets you can always find something that makes you keep going (FOR #GOODIES THAT SOMETHING IS #GOODWITCH)

- Sam´s patient: a woman keeps coming to his practice saying she is sick but all the tests come back negative. Eve tells Sam that the woman has a reputation of seeing a lot of doctors but no one finds out that she is sick, so they think that she is making it up. Something tells Sam that the woman isn't lying and at the end he finds out she really is sick. LESSON: don´t assume things about other people because you never know their whole story.

- Abigail: she has opened her new flower shop but she doesn't know how much work it will be... When she feels overwhelmed she hires someone to help her but instead of hiring her to help in the shop she gives her all the work while she goes and rests. At the end the new girl resigns and leaves Abigail with everything. Just in that moment Martha calls the shop and makes a big order. At first Abigail thinks she won't be able to do it but Cassie reminds her that she can do it and she does. LESSON: don't use others to do your job and believe in yourself and that you can do it. - Grace and Sam: when Sam sees how much Grace misses her dad he offers her an internship at his office so she can keep spending time with him. Sam tells Grace that sometimes you have to look for something to help you miss a little less what you have lost. LESSON: give your heart something more to love to make the emptiness less empty. As you can see, all are examples of real life situations.
