The Anniversary

Sam and Cassie: They are celebrating their first anniversary together, also known as "the paper anniversary". Sam comes down to the kitchen in the morning, looking for some things that Cassie already has ready for him, and asks him if he is looking for his anniversary kiss too as he smiles and kisses her. He tells him that actually he was looking for where the last year went because he lost track of time being married to her. They kiss again and say "happy anniversary" to each other, then he discovers she has arranged a breakfast for both. Sam smiles at everything she has done and she says that she thinks they are worthed which Sam replies "we are totally worthed". They sit and start enjoying breakfast as Cassie gives Sam her anniversary present but Sam loves it so much that he asks her to wait for him to give her his. Cassie smiles telling him that being together is the only gift she needs. Sam starts looking for the "perfect" gift for Cassie, not knowing what to buy her since he liked her gift so much. Adam tells him that Cassie would love whatever he gives her but Sam wants something big and special. Sam and Cassie decide to use some of their wedding gifts and make some spaghetti together, while they chat, kiss and make jokes. At that moment, Nick comes home to wish them a happy anniversary and Cassie sees he is happy telling him how his girlfriend is. Sam is surprised but Nick ends up admitting he is with Stella and that he is very happy making Sam smile telling him that "I know the feeling". Sam sees Nick looking for anniversary gifts too because he has been for 3 months with Stella, and Nick asks him what´s the perfect gift. Sam smiles telling him that it doesn´t have to be something he buys but something meaningful for her, and asks him where they met. While Sam listens to Nick he gets an idea for his gift for Cassie. At the end, Sam recreates the night that he and Cassie met, in the lake house, which leaves her speechless and totally surprised. Cassie tells him how it is the perfect start to their anniversary night, smiling and kissing him. Later they both enjoy a piece of their wedding cake while they drink some wine and talk about that year. Cassie asks him why he decided to move to Middleton, knowing there are a lot of little towns and Sam smiles telling him it was destiny. They kiss and Sam tells her that his gift is waiting outside. At first Cassie is surprised but then she sees 2 paper lights she can´t help but smile, as Sam tells her how much he loves her and they kiss again while they let go of the paper lights and hug watching them fly over the lake. LESSONS: what's important is to always care and try your best not the gift itself, find time to be together and do special things with your partner, always tell your loved ones how much you love them. #SassieBack #Countdown2Sassie

- Martha: she has bought the second oldest house in Middleton but she doesn't remember that it belonged to Roderick Davenport and is where the curse started. She goes to Abigail to buy some flowers and sees her sad face after she tells her. Martha takes the music box back to Grey House to show Cassie and Sam her discovery while they start searching for the other piece that goes inside. Martha is very sure that the house is gonna be hers but she discovers that Dotty Davenport wants it too so they start competing for it. Dotty is sure that she is gonna win because she has more money but the owner asks them to write a letter about why they want the house for him to make a decision, and Joy helps Martha with the letter. At the end Martha gets the house and Joy the job meaning she will stay in town for some time. LESSONS: what's important is how you care about things not necessary money. - Joy: a new woman arrives in town telling everyone she is here to apply for a job helping Martha renovate her new house but she has other intentions too. Cassie sees the woman is hiding something, from the beginning, but gives her space until she wants to be honest with everyone. When Cassie talks with Joy she discovers they both have a similar past because they both lost their parents at a young age. LESSONS: always be honest with those around you

- Abigail and Donovan: they keep having some bad luck over fortune cookies and other events that Abigail is sure are the work of the curse. Abigail goes to see Cassie and she tells her that she can´t blame everything bad that happens to them on the course and that "the road may be rocky but the key is to find joy on the journey"and asks her to take some books back to the library as a favor. It turns out that the book ends up being a clue to break the curse and Abigail finds Donovan at the library looking for it. Later they discover a letter that has riddle on it and they track it down to the heart of Middleton that is one piece of the music box, they are shocked when they see the heart os breaking and they realize it may be the curse, starting a run to break the curse before the heart cracks all the way. LESSONS: even when things are bad remember to look for the bright side and enjoy the little wins - Stephanie: she has a new partner in the food truck, a famous blogger that wants to do everything her way... but Stephanie doesn´t trust her decisions. Cassie tells Stephanie that maybe she has to let her partner make some decisions and trust that she knows what to do but when Stephanie does it they start losing clients. The young blogger understands that writing isn't the same as directing a business and tells Stephanie she is back to writing which Stephanei agrees is good for her. LESSONS: sometimes you just have to trust people and give them a chance, sometimes you see for yourself what you are good or not good at
